Spay/Neuter Services

Prices

All surgeries include pain medications, nail trim, and e-collar. We never charge for in-heat or pregnant.

Due to the complications and increased anesthesia time arising from spaying animals with prior c-sections and because we, as a mission-based clinic, believe an animal requiring a c-section should be spayed at that time to prevent future complications and risk to that animal, we now will be implementing a prior c-section charge for all difficult spays resulting from a prior c-section. This fee is $50 and is at the discretion of the surgeon.

A deposit is required to schedule all surgeries and appointments. If you have to reschedule and do so in a timely manner, your deposit is refundable.

All pets must have current proof of rabies vaccination or
a rabies vaccine will be given at the time of surgery for $17.50.

If your male dog or cat is cryptorchid (undescended testicle), there is a $10-$50 crypt fee per testicle. If the testicle is VERY difficult to find/retrieve, there may be an additional anesthesia time fee. This is rare.

Any adult male dog that has a significantly prominent scrotum and/or is an absolute wild child will have a scrotal ablation procedure recommended: this is a procedure where the entire scrotum is removed with the testicles. If the ablation is done at the time of neutering, the cost is $100. If your pup needs to come back at a later time for a scrotal ablation (not at the time of neutering), the cost is $225.

 Surgical procedures are by appointment
except for feral cats, male cats, and pregnant animals.

we accept pregnant cats and dogs without appointments, but you may be assessed a false pregnancy fee if your animal is not actually pregnant and does not look pregnant. The sooner in the pregnancy, the better for all involved.

Check-in time for surgery is between 7:45 AM and 8:30 AM; male cats and feral cats have until 9:30 AM
Let us know at check-in if there are any special needs, concerns, or time constraints.
You will be called when your pet is ready to be picked up.

Surgery Intake Forms
Upon check in for surgery, you will be asked to complete a Surgery Intake Form.
If you wish to complete the form before you arrive, click here.
