My Kids Have Paws is seeking Licensed Veterinary Technicians and/or Veterinarian Assistants.

These positions assist in gathering the necessary information from pet owners about their pet’s condition.  Performing physical exams, collecting diagnostics samples for testing, prepares vaccinations, in addition to other tasks to complete the visit for the pet.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• One year veterinarian technician experience preferred but we are willing to train.
• Passion for animals and animal welfare
• Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong organizational and time management skills, as well as a strong sense of personal accountability
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a team player

EXPERIENCE:

• LVT preferred but experience in veterinary practice acceptable.
• Veterinary experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Hours vary based on the schedule of the clinic. Schedule ranges from five 8-hour shifts to four 10-hour shifts. The position is offered as full-time but will consider part-time applicants as well. Benefits listed are for full-time position; part time position comes with a similar set of benefits.
