Privately-owned veterinary clinic 30 min from Chattanooga, TN seeking a full-time, part-time, or relief veterinarian. Our clinic, My Kids Have Paws Veterinary Clinic, is in Dalton, GA and is based on a mission - to provide compassionate, affordable care to reduce euthanasia rates in our area.
Our clientele ranges from those who cannot afford anything to those who can afford everything. The cornerstone of our services is spay/neuter. However, we provide most soft tissue surgery services, all GP services, emergency services (during operating hours), and everything in between. We have all the diagnostic capabilities - in-house bloodwork, urinalyses, fecal (Imagyst), digital radiographs, ultrasound - as well as typical GP equipment - high speed dental equipment, 3 surgery tables, cautery, cold-laser therapy. In addition, we have recently formed a non-profit organization to help offset costs for owners who qualify.
We are seeking a veterinarian who has a passion for helping animals and their owners. Because there are so many moving parts in the clinic, the position is completely open to your interests - surgery only? Sure. Appointments only? Sure. Mix of surgery and appointments? Sure. New grad needing mentorship? We have that as well. Honestly, we're open to just about anything, including relief veterinarians.
Our clinic is currently open Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Fri from 9-6:30. Depending on duties, the hired veterinarian can work a shorter or longer day based on need. We are quite flexible with our arrangements.
Full benefits - PTO, pet medical benefits, health insurance, license/liability coverage, VIN membership, CE compensation, and financial assistance towards student loans are available for full time veterinarians. Part time and relief veterinarians are open to negotiation based on the amount of time working.
Salary is based on experience. Daily/hourly rates are available for part-time or relief veterinarians.
